Let us be grateful to people who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. I was never used to being happy, so that wasn't something I ever took for granted. I did sort of think, you know, meeting different people did that. You see, I was brought up differently from the average Nigerian child
because the average child is brought up expecting to be happy - that's it, successful, happy, and on time. Thanks to the admitted students at A.C.E in 2013/2014. I got to discover a lot about myself by relating with people alike. A lot of new things started after the introduction of the 2013 academic set. The brilliant ones, the party types, the entrepreneur types, a lot of associations and many more. No doubt about this, these guys have actually stepped up the aestheticism of the school and uplifted it to a new pederast in the rank of one of the most interesting tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Unfortunately, these guys have barely a year to go and I am still struggling to see and believe how many of the things this set have started will continue to thrive and progress. These two academic recent sets arguably do not know any other thing outside:
1 - To Walk to a new part of campus and catch fun.
2 - To Head to the gym and build "seven packs".
3 - Read something for exams and fun. It may sound crazy given how much reading these guys do in college.
4 - Do homework in a new location probably Economics department. Alright, it admittedly sounds more boring.
5 - Hang out in their residence hall lobby to gossip and gist.
6 - Watch a sports game.
7 - To go to an event they've never been to before.
8 - Call and catch up with a friend.
9 - Hang out in the campus kunnu joint.
10 - Grab some friends and take turn in assessing the undiscovered babes on campus.
11 - Grab some friends and go to MIS to use free Wi-Fi and many more.
12- Fellowships and Choir rehearsals.
I wonder how all these will help them develop the social life. It's a challenge and call to degree two, degree one, nce one students. I am not a courageous person by nature just like I said before. I have simply discovered that, at certain key moments in this life, you must find courage in yourself, in order to move forward and live. It is like a muscle and it must be exercised, first a little, and then more and more. All the really exciting things possible during the course of a lifetime require a little more courage than we currently have. A deep breath and a leap. Discover who you are now on campus and explore it to add more to the aesthetic atmosphere and social well being of the college. Chances of discovering who you are outside the campus could be difficult.
At Last, the secret to why ACE will soon become boring is revealed
